All of the clothing pieces displayed in this section are one of a kind, and totally painted by hand. The idea has been to upcycle fashion brands turning slightly used clothes into high-quality upcycled fashion statements. This brings an original piece of artwork to be worn by its new owner. It also is great for our environment, keeping previously owned garments out of landfields, decreasing waste. Each piece took the artist sometimes weeks to complete. Painting on fabric is completely different than regular painting on canvas. On canvas you can usually simply paint over any mistakes. Fabric is pretty much unforgiving. That is why they are so special. If you have any questions, please contact the artist.

Each piece is produced using the best fabric paint possible. Fabric paint is much softer than regular acrylic paints. It tends to have a slight tacky feel on some items. This is normal and really makes the item much more comfortable to wear. The piece should easily move with your body and not feel stiff. They have been heat set to retain their design as much as possible. The tee-shirts should do well turned inside out and machine washed alone on cold. Black & White Swirl Skirt | 3,000 Pesos

This is the cutest, light weight denim skirt. It has 8 1/2 inch zippers on each side that can be opened up or closed, depending on your mood. The overall color of the skirt is a very light blue. Artist has hand painted a combination of black and white abstract swirls in the right front side. Simple, with a touch of elegance.

SIZE: Size US/ MX, 29. Waist measures closer to 30 inches around. Length is 19 inches long.

MATERIAL: 98% Cotton, 2% Spandex.

Patched Heart Jeans | 1,200 pesos

This is a pair of gently worn, high waisted denim jeans. Color medium blue, and they have no holes. Various shaped patches were added to front and back of jeans. Different shades of denim were used. These patches will fray nicely as they are worn and washed. Numerous colored thread was then used to enhance each patch shape.

SIZE: 8 Medium, Petite: Waist measures 32 inches around. Length is 37 inches long.

MATERIAL: 99% Cotton, 1% Spandex

Tan Patchwork Skirt | 3,000 Pesos

This skirt started life as a pair of Gloria Vanderbilt jeans. Artist then un-hemmed the pants, and left the edges raw. Through washing, they should fray even better. Fabric was then covered in various shapes of a light blue denim that was filled in by using different colored threads in a zigzag pattern. Very good medium weight denim fabric throughout.

SIZE: 8, waist measures 31 inches. Total length is 32 and a half inches long.

MATERIAL: 98% Cotton, 2% Spandex. Label says they were made in Egypt.

Patchwork Maxi | 3000 pesos

This is a light blue denim maxi skirt with various colored patches from other jeans added. The patches are olive, dark denim and a very light striped blue and white denim fabrics. Many of the extra patches really are additional pockets as well. Enjoy.

BRAND: Lee, Relaxed Fit

SIZE: Waist is 34 inches around. Length is 41 inches long, with slits in the from and back. Coverage is not a problem.

MATERIAL: Tag is washed out, but materials all feel like 100% Cotton.

Deconstructed denim skirt | 3,000 pesos

This skirt originated as a pair of men’s denim shorts. Artist used numerous other denim pant pieces to create the new design. It even has a heart cutout on the front bottom of the skirt. Perfect for Valentine’s Day, and all throughout the warmer months.

This is a shorter denim skirt made up of many different pairs of jeans. Some medium blue, some much lighter blue. The top and waist are all one piece, Old Navy, extra high rise. Denim high rise anything is going to be in high fashion throughout 2024!

SIZE: 10, waist measures 32 inches around. The longest part of the length is about 24 inches long.

Vintage Black Skirt| 3,000 Pesos

Slightly distressed maxi skirt. Label identifies as Vintage/Retro. Beautiful up-cycled blue denim, rhinestone pockets with inserts added. Overall medium weight.

SIZE: 10/30R, Waist measures 32 inches around. Length is 39 inches long. Bottom is purposely un-hemmed.

Curious Lady | 3,000 Pesos

Medium colored, light weight denim skirt. The front is almost completely hand painted.The bold colorful lady with long hair is pondering her future. She can be easily dressed up or down.

Light/Dark Grey Skirt | 3,000 Pesos

Upcycled two tone, grey denim skirt. One of a kind fashion piece, perfect for the holidays. The hand-made flower is detachable and can be positioned anywhere on the skirt as well as used on other clothing. Remove before washing. The hem is frayed on purpose.

SIZE: 0.5, waist measures 31 inches around with some stretch as well. Length is 38 and a half inches long.

Black & Blue denim skirt | 3,000 pesos

This is a black denim skirt that has been made out of two pairs of jeans, as well as multi-colored fabric. The denim flower on the pocket, was made my me as well, and is removable. It has been exciting to hunt, and find clothes that might otherwise be thrown away, and create something new and fashionable with them. Schedule a time to come try on a few things. SIZE: 29/8, waist measures 33inches around. Length from waist to bottom is approximately 34inches long.

MATERIAL: 99% Cotton, 1% Spandex

Minimalist lady light blue jacket | 3,000 pesos

This is a little bit different than my usual jackets. The bottom had been cut off very short. Jacket also a little distressed. Minimalist ladies face painted in white, with touches of color on flower, eye, and her lips. Then fabric gathered together in two layers to add to the length. Front flower pin was hand made using the same white fabric using numerous cut circles. The heat of a candle, caused the fabric to curl to create the flower. Again, remove pin, prior to hand washing. Warm iron especially on the bottom white ruffles. with light fabric over

SIZE: Medium. Chest buttoned measures 41 inches around.

MATERIAL: Tag was cut off, however demin feels like 100% cotton. Bottom, some type of chiffon.

Decomposed blue jean skirt | 3,000 pesos

This is a patch worked skirt made out of several different colored blue jeans. The flower pin was made out of a printed flannel. All parts of this skirt were created out of recycled fabrics and materials. So much better for the environment. Artist suggest removing the flower pin, prior to washing. It should become more fringed, with more washings. Enjoy

Something Different| 4000 pesos

This is a recycled, medium blue denim skirt. I didn’t like the overall shape of the skirt, so I decided to cut it up. Shopped for various colors and textures of other used clothes, and cut them up as well. Then the fun started of how to put it all back together. Came out as a cool, maxi skirt. Certainly a one of a kind piece. Add to your wardrobe, and save the landfill! Enjoy…

BRAND: CHRISTOPER & BANKS

SIZE: 16, Waist measures 38 inches around. Can easily be taken up, if needed. Length varies, longest from waist is about 38 inches long. Some areas are several inches shorter.

MATERIAL: The denim part is 71% Cotton, 28% Polyester, 1% Spandex. The other material is totally varied. Turned inside out and wash on cool, hand to dry.

Raspberry Lips | 3,200 pesos

This is a light blue, and light weight denim jacket. Back is hand painted in a minimalist line drawing of a face with just a few areas painted in bold colors. The lips are more in a hot pink color. Great for the Fall weather.

SIZE: LARGE. Chest measures 38 inches when fully buttoned.

Ms. Happy | 4,000 pesos

This is an authentic GUESS Jacket. Jacket is a light blue. The jacket is fairly heavy weight, and looks brand new! The entire back is painted in a cubistic style, using bright, bold colors that really contract with the color of the jacket.

One Eye on You | 3,200 pesos

This is a medium blue denim jacket without a label. The back is painted in a more abstract style, featuring one large eye. Colors are bright and bold. Painting remains soft to the touch. Definitely, an eye catcher, pun intended.

BRAND: Unknown

SIZE: Unknown, chest measurements when fully buttoned is 44 inches around. I would call it an large – extra large in size.

MATERIAL: 74% Cotton, 20% Polyester, 4% Viscose, and 2% Spandex.

Here’s Looking at You | 3,000 Pesos

This is a hand painted denim jacket done in the cubist style of art. The entire back is painted using bright, bold colors throughout. The front remains unpainted and has two nice side pockets. This could, and should be your next fashion statement piece.

Black short sleeved Jacket | 1,500 Pesos

This is a simple, but elegant, light weight denim jacket. Both front and back are painted with large minimalistic ladies faces. Front of jacket has two pockets and this also has a fabric belt that could be worn, or not. This is definitely a three season jacket.

SIZE: XL, Chest measures 46 inches around. Length of jacket is 25 inches from shoulder.

MATERIAL: 99% Cotton, 1% Spandex

Mr. Green Eyes | 3,000 Pesos

This is a ladies 3/4 sleeve, light weight denim jacket. The entire back is painted with a whimsical, cubistic styled face. The front remains unpainted, having two lined pockets.

BRAND: TAVATA, Made in Mexico

SIZE: 36, Chest measures 42 inches when buttoned.

MATERIAL: Artist assumes it’s 100% Cotton. The label was cut off prior to purchase. The fabric is soft without any feel of elastic stretch.

White Minimalist Pants | 1,200 Pesos

This is a light weight summery pair of pants, painted with a more water colored background on both the front and back of pants. The front has several minimalist hand painted ladies faces. It also has two deep pockets on each side. The waist has some elastic with a draw string to help adjust the fit.

SIZE: 4, mid-rise, straight legs

MATERIAL: 100% Cotton

Ladies Rose Blouse | 2,000 Pesos

This is something a little different. It is a soft, loose fitting ladies top in a light gray color. Hand painted with some light pink roses. Each side of the blouse is shaped in a more rounded cut with sides having three buttons for decoration only. The back is the solid light grey and again is rounded and longer than the front. Overall colors of the artwork are more subtle. Can be dressed up or worn more causally. 

BRAND: Unknown. The label was removed.

SIZE: Unknown, but wears like a Medium. Chest measures 40 inches around.

MATERIAL: 95% Polyester, 5% Elastine. The fabric is very soft and comfortable.

Picasso-style face on Tee | 1,500 Pesos

This is one of my first hand painted fabric pieces. I used one of my previous sculptures that is also on this website, as a model. Artwork is bright and beautiful on a basic white, V – necked tee shirt. Very soft and comfortable to wear.

BRAND: Fruit of the Loom

SIZE: Grande (Large). Chest measures about 42 inches around. Length was professionally shortened for a better fit. Length is 24 inches

MATERIAL: 100% Cotton

Sharpie Marker Jeans | 2,000 Pesos – Sold

These are a pair of light to medium blue jeans. The front was painted using a permanent black sharpie pen. It has been washed on cold and should not fade. The design is full of minimalist imagines from faces, flowers to butterflies. The back of the jeans remains without design.

SIZE: 12, High Rise. Waist measures 32 inches and length is about 40 inches from top to bottom

MATERIAL: 91% cotton, 8% Polyester, and 1% Spandex

Geometric swirled denim skirt | 3,000 Pesos

This is something a little different. Multi-colored hand painted skirt covered all around using fabric markers. This took over a week to complete and colors overall appear vibrant, but subtle. It has been machine washed inside out on cold. Artist would suggest hand washing inside out in the future, however I don’t believe colors will fade further. Will go great with a number of different colored tops.

SIZE: 14. Waist measurement is 34 inches around, and length from top to bottom is 19 and a half inches long.

MATERIAL: 78% cotton, 20% Polyester, and 2% spandex

Flowers and Butterfly Overalls | 3,500 Pesos

This pair of overalls was bought brand new. Overalls are currently very fashionable. It is a medium weight, mottled colored black denim fabric. The right side has the majority of the artwork, and the lower left leg has a purple orchid painting on it. The back is not painted. The over-shoulder straps are adjustable. Sides have three buttons and nice pockets. This is something that could be worn with a light tee in hot weather, as well as a sweater, during the colder months.

BRAND: The Pattern

SIZE: Tag says G – Large, but it fits much more like a medium. Size across the waist area is 36 inches. Length and overall fit can be adjusted using the shoulder straps.

MATERIAL: 74% Cotton, 23% Polyester, and 3% Spandex

Sleeveless Whimsical Lady Jacket | 3,000 Pesos

This is a light blue denim, sleeveless jacket. It has a whimsical lady painted on the back with bright, bold colors. Front unpainted. This could be your signature piece in your wardrobe. Because of the style, she could be worn almost in all seasons as well. 

BRAND: Earl Jeans. Has silver Earl Jean design buttons.

SIZE: XL, chest measures 44 inches when buttoned.

MATERIAL: 58% cotton, 23% polyester, 17% rayon, and 2% spandex.

Freddy Mercury Jacket | 4,500 pesos – SOLD

This is a special dark denim mans jacket painted to honor Freddy Mercury! He is primarily painted on the back side and some on the sleeves of the jacket. Following his iconic stance, the artist has included numerous portions of some of your favorite music. It is a gentleman’s jacket, however, perfect for a lady as well. Fabric and painting are lightweight.

BRAND: PIA KASSAVA. Jacket came from Liverpool in Mexico.

SIZE: 42. Chest measures 49 inches around buttoned up.

MATERIAL: 98% Cotton, 2% Spandex – Elastand

This is a medium shade of denim where the Artist attempted her first experience in a more graffiti style of painting. While street graffiti is usually much more layered on top of each other, artist choice to keep it more loose and legible. A few images do have some over-lapping. The entire jacket is lightweight, covered in bold colorful images and positive words. Artwork is not stiff to the touch and comfortable to wear. What a great statement piece to add to your collection.

The Eyes Have It! | 4,000 Pesos

This is a dark navy denim jacket covered in various artistic styled eyes. Bright pops of colors and images on front and back of jacket. Both sleeves have various quotes to give people something to think about. This piece will definitely make a statement.

BRAND: FRANCESCA NOVO, from Mexico

SIZE: Says EG, meaning extra large, however, most of the up-cycled clothes run much smaller. The chest measures 41-42 inches around.

MATERIAL: 69% Cotton, 28% Polyster, and 3% Spandex. The weight is medium and has quite a bit of stretch, from side to side.

Beautiful Lady Tee Shirt | 1,200 Pesos – Sold

This is a lovely lady hand painted in my canvas art style. She is brightly colored on the front of a very soft tee shirt. The shirt has a v- neckline. Artist used a little more of a watercolor technique to help create the subtle shading. The back of shirt remains white. The hem was also shorten to make it more comfortable for a woman to wear. This could be easily dressed up or enjoyed with some jeans.

BRAND: Fruit of the Loom

SIZE: Tag says G for large, however, it fits much closer to a medium. Chest measures 44 inches around. Length has been shorten professionally to be about 26 inches. Enough to be either tucked in, or worn outside of pants or skirts.

MATERIAL: 100% Cotton.

Dare to be Different Jacket | 3,000 Pesos

This is something totally different. It is more of a cropped off denim jacket in an olive military green color. Fabric a medium weight. The hem is fringed, but finished as well. The long sleeves are elasticized around the wrist. It has two pockets in the front. Artist initially used spray paint in colors of red, black and silver for the background. This was heat set and washed on cold. Then the back depicts a much different styled face. More abstract in design. Each sleeve has a message, hand painted for the world to see.

SIZE: Label says Medium, but it runs a little small. Chest measures 40 inches around. Overall length is about 18 inches.

MATERIAL: 97% Cotton, 3% Spandex – This garment was made in Turkey.

Butterfly Skirt | 3,000 pesos

This is a denim skirt that is painted in the front, and a little on the side with brightly colored butterflies. It would look great with a solid blouse or teeshirt. The back has two pockets and a button middle slit. Open it up to show a little more leg. The bottom of skirt is unhemmed.

SIZE: Unknown. Waist measurement is 34 inches. Skirt measures, from top to bottom, about 20 inches in length.

MATERIAL: 100% cotton.

Lighting Jeans | 2,500 Pesos

These jeans portray jagged bolts of purple and white lighting, covering the front of the pants. Medium blue in overall background color, with some lighter blue tones around the thighs and knees. Gently worn. The backside remains solid blue denim.

Dark Navy Daisy Pants | 2,500 Pesos

These pants are dark navy, very summery, light weight pants. Hand painted bright daisies on the front legs. Back of pants remains dark navy. Waist has a draw string to easily adjust size. These would be perfect for those hot summer days

SIZE: 8. Waist expands to 34 inches, before cinching up with the ties.

MATERIAL: 55% Linen, 45% cotton

Demin Rose | 2,200 Pesos

These jeans were my first attempt to painting on clothes. The paint used on them was acrylic paint mixed with a fabric paint medium. This makes the artwork a little more heavy to the touch. The flowers are bold and beautiful. Back of jeans remains unpainted.

SIZE: 8. Measures about 30 inches around the waist.

MATERIAL: 99% cotton, 1% spandex

Monarch Butterfly Skirt | 2,500 Pesos

This is a beautiful medium colored denim skirt. It has been enjoyed by it’s previous owner, and gently distressed. The right half of the skirt has been painted with a fabulous, brightly colored, half of a monarch butterfly. The back of the skirt sports two pockets. The bottom of the skirt is un-hemmed, and slightly fringed. It really pops out against the sky blue background of the denim.

SIZE: 10. Waist measures approximately 33 inches around. The length is about 17 inches long.

MATERIAL: 99% Cotton, 1% Spandex

Whimsical Scull Jacket | 4,200 Pesos – Sold

This bright and bold scull is a real show stopper. It is covered in splashes of reds, yellows, turquoise, and white. The jacket is lighter weight, black denim. While most of the black is covered in color, the front of the jacket remains solid black. The front also has beautiful silver toned button with diamond looking rhinestones in the center of each one.

SIZE: 14. The chest measures approximately 45 inches around.

MATERIAL: 100% Cotton. Lighter weight than most denims and very soft to the touch.

Dreamer Tee Shirt | 1,500 Pesos

This is really my first attempt of painting on fabric. I found this tee in a local store with a very rough outline of some of the faces. That caught my eye. I felt like I could add to it. More faces and colors, flower added. Neckline is rounded, and the back remains all white.

This T-shirt is hand painted in a more water color technique. Colors pop off of the white tee shirt. Back remains solid white.
